Co-Founder / Cinematographer
Carson started capturing video at a young age. Since then, his passion for filmmaking has been a constant. He went on to pursue a degree in film studies and eventually form D&N Cinematics. With a background in broadcast journalism, Carson has a knack for natural storytelling which extends to projects for a wide array of clients. Carson is a self-proclaimed “video nerd” who makes staying on the cutting edge of technology and techniques in the filmmaking industry a top priority. The result: cutting-edge videos that capture your company vision, communicate your story and stir up excitement around your brand.
Haylie is a North Dakotan, a filmmaker, and a photographer. She has a B.S. in Mass Communication with a minor in Marketing from the University of Mary and has been working professionally in video for four years. During that time, Haylie has worked on numerous film sets and countless commercials. Haylie loves the outdoors and uses it as the main inspiration for what she captures. Planning and conceptualizing a project is her favorite part of a production.

Craig was the 7th child in a family of eight. Raised on a small farm outside of Sawyer, North Dakota, Craig’s adventures led him to Minot State University where he pursued a career in broadcast journalism and eventually served as an Assistant Professor for 5 years. After graduating with a B.S. in Broadcasting, Craig worked in television for 28 years, where he created more than 8,000 commercials and helped produce news packages. Today, at D&N Cinematics, he’s grateful to be able to offer his experience in pursuit of your project.
Emme never intended to study or become involved in video production at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota while pursuing her Mass Communication degree. But, by a wonderful accident, she was among the audience of a certain (lackluster) movie and her interest was sparked. It ignited a passion for film and video that fueled the rest of her college career, providing her with opportunities ranging from writing movie reviews to working on a short film set to interning with yours truly, D&N Cinematics. She is excited to bring her passion for artistry, story telling, and production into her career and your next project.
Nick has always been intrigued by the idea of using video to tell unique stories and push the boundaries creatively. He graduated from the University of Mary with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication. Nick also thoroughly enjoys performing magic at both private and public events, something he has been doing for over a decade. When he is not making videos or doing magic, you can probably find him either hiking, backpacking, or skiing in the mountains of Montana.
